As of January 2024 I am Dr. Hamish Ferguson, successfully defending my thesis on using power meter data to model sprint cycling performance!
Attended World Masters Track Cycling Champs in Los Angeles 2022, Manchester 2023, and Roubaix 2024, and at each Chris Allington has stood atop the podium!!!
Attended the 2024 World Road Cycling Champs in Zürich with two riders competing, such an amazing experience, and watching Kopecky and Pogacar win the Elite Titles was super inspiring.
So, things are going great, not all sunshine, I miss my friend Olivia Podmore more than ever. Her inquest has come and gone, and shed a little light on things, but still many more answers to be found!
Been doing a video report for riders on their key races and interesting sessions. Been posting my sessions for youtube...
